  • ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS

    Chancellor Steven Murray Legacy Scholarship (3 award each yr.)

    This scholarship pays full tuition and mandatory fees each fall, spring, and summer sessions for two consecutive years. Requirements are: 25 ACT composite; first time, full-time student; 3.0cum. GPA and full-time status per semester required to maintain scholarship.

    Chancellor’s Scholarship (3 awarded each yr.)

    This scholarship pays full tuition and mandatory fees each fall, spring, and summer sessions for two consecutive years. Requirements are: 25 ACT composite; first time, full-time student; 3.0 cum. GPA and full-time status per semester required to maintain scholarship.

    Academic Excellence

    This scholarship pays full tuition each fall, spring and summer session for two consecutive years. Requirements
    are: 23 ACT composite or 3.0 high school GPA; first time, full-time student. A minimum 2.5 GPA and full-time status per
    semester are required to maintain scholarship. (Tuition scholarship amounts are calculated at in-district rates.)

    Technical Achievement

    This scholarship pays full tuition each fall, spring and summer session for two consecutive years. Requirements
    are: 23 ACT composite or 3.0 GPA in high school technical curriculum; first time, full-time student; student must enroll in a
    technical program. A minimum 2.5 GPA and full-time status per semester are required to maintain scholarship. (Tuition scholarship
    amounts are calculated at in-district rates.)

  • OTHER FUNDING SOURCES

    Single Parent Family Scholarship (sponsored by Arkansas and Phillips County organizations) This provides financial assistance to
    single parents who are pursuing a course of instruction. Scholarships may be used for tuition, books, utility bills, car maintenance, child

    Workforce Improvement Grant (sponsored by ADHE) This is designed to assist non-traditional students, at least 24 years of age; not
    Pell eligible; full-time or part-time status; must complete FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Contacts: DeWitt Campus-April

    Career Pathways (sponsored by ADHE) Qualified applicants must be a parent or legal guardian with children under the age of 21 living
    in your home; must be receiving Transitional Employment Assistance (TEA) now, or have received TEA in the past; must be receiving

    Great River Promise. Students who
    meet the stated criteria will be able
    to attend Phillips Community College
    with college tuition and mandatory
    fees paid.

    *Scholarship award amounts may depend on
    Arkansas stacking policies.

    *Tuition scholarships are based on in-district
    tuition rates.

  • Criteria
    • Attend 4 years at an Arkansas or Phillips County high school
    • Graduate with a high school diploma, beginning with 2010 graduates
    • Achieve high school attendance requirements for 4 years of high school
    • Have no drug or DUI offenses
    • Exhaust all other scholarship or financial aid programs first. Deadline
    for the State of Arkansas scholarship: June 1
    • Must enroll fall semester following high school graduation
    • Must be accepted as a PCCUA student and complete a PCCUA scholarship
    application


    Once at PCCUA
    • Enroll for at least 12 credit hours per semester the first year and 15
    credit hours per semester the second year on the Helena-West Helena
    and DeWitt campuses only
    • Exhaust all other scholarship and financial aid programs first
    • Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA
    • Successfully complete at least 67 percent of all credit hours attempted
    each semester
    • Scholarship is for 4 semesters during a period not to exceed 3 calendar
    years following fall semester after high school graduation

  • Should be Empty:
